Wednesday, January 23, 2013 0147 On 01/22/2013 @ 01:47 hours, Stations 26-2 and 12-1 were dispatched to Gus's Diner for a report of smoke and flames from the roof from a passerby. 26-2-66 arrived and confirmed smoke and flames coming from the roof area where the new addition meets the existing building. 26-2-90 went on location and started an interior attack on the fire, while 12-1 established a water supply and backup line. 2 La...dder trucks from 26-1 arrived and gained access to the roof. Interior crews knocked down the fire in the ceiling, and conducted overhaul while looking for additional hotspots.15-1 provided Engine & man Power , 19-2 provided a RIT team while 16-1 and Jamesburg provided coverage for any additional calls in 26-2 and 12-1's respective districts. Great job by all responders. The scene was cleared by 26-2-66 at approximately 04:45 with no reported injures. The fire is currently investigation by the MCFM office and MPD.
